- Grant Description
- Purpose: The purpose of the NIDCD Research Career Enhancement Award for Established Investigators (K18) program is to enable established, proven investigators to augment or redirect their research programs through the acquisition of new research skills to answer questions relevant to the hearing, balance, smell, taste, voice, speech and language sciences. Mechanism of Support: This Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) will utilize the NIH Career Enhancement Award (K18) mechanism. Funds Available and Anticipated Number of Awards: The total amount to be awarded by the NIDCD and the number of awards will depend upon the quality and merit of applications received and the availability of funds. The NIDCD intends to commit up to $500,000 per year to this FOA.
