NIGMS Center for the Determination of Structures of HIV/Host Complexes (P50): - The purpose of this RFA is to support research centers aimed at the determination of the high -resolution structures of complexes between components of HIV and the host cell. Part of the effort of these centers will be aimed at conducting collaborative research between the centers and the larger biological community engaged in research on these complexes.-Up to $10,000,000 will be available to fund applications received in response to this RFA.-NIGMS anticipates making two to three awards.-Awards will be made under the P50 Center mechanism-Eligible organizations include not for profit domestic public and private institutions such as universities, colleges, hospitals and laboratories. Eligible agencies of the Federal government may also apply.-Eligible PIs with the skills, knowledge, and resources necessary to carry out the proposed research are invited to work with their institutions to develop an application for support.-Applicant organizations may not submit more than one application.-See Section IV.1 for application materials.-Telecommunications for the hearing impaired is available at: TTY 301-451-0088
