NIJ FY 13 Desistance From Crime Over the Life Course: This solicitation seeks proposals to conduct research that enhances knowledge of the process of desistance from crime. NIJ encourages applicants to submit proposals for bold, innovative approaches to enhancing understanding of the processes underlying desistance from crime. Several areas in need of research have been identified (see "Program-Specific Information" below). However, applications are not limited to the specified topics.
