Grant Description: -Purpose. The goal of this funding opportunity announcement (FOA) is to implement a program of cooperative agreements that will support milestone-driven resource-related projects focused on providing products and services that are required for the pre-clinical testing of new therapeutics, and that are specific to neurology. -Mechanism of Support. This FOA will utilize the U24 Resource-Related Research Projects Cooperative Agreements grant mechanism. -Funds Available and Anticipated Number of Awards. Because the nature and scope of the proposed research will vary from application to application, it is anticipated that the size and duration of each award will also vary. The total amount awarded and the number of awards will depend upon the quality, duration, and costs of the applications received.
