This announcement is to provide public notice of the National Park Service (NPS),
intention to fund the following project activities without competition.
The NPS will collaborate with The Dunes Learning Center and the Historic Pullman Foundation to develop curriculum and deliver educational programming about the development and history of the Pullman National Monument. The Dune Learning Center is uniquely qualified because of their body of work in curriculum delivery and development as well as their geographic service area.
Based in northwest Indiana, the Dunes Learning Center provides high quality environmental education programming for over 5,000 students annually in the Chicagoland area. They provide residential education programs at their facility in northwest Indiana but also work with local non-profit partners to provide stewardship education programming at other sites in the region. They have a strong base of partners and support in the entire region.
