NOTICE OF INTENT: Complete a Research Design and Data Recovery Plan for Tonto N: A. Project Goals â¿¿ This project provides required information on archaeological sites necessary for decreasing deferred maintenance to Maintained Archaeological Sites as well as planning and implementing future infrastructure development at Tonto National Monument. B. Project Objectives â¿¿ (1) This project will result in the creation of a research design and recommendations for testing and mitigation procedures for archaeological sites located in locations where the future development and maintenance of park trails and utility corridors are anticipated. (2) This document is necessary to decrease deferred maintenance to archaeological sites and understand how future infrastructure development will affect archaeological resources within the park.
