Grant Description: This program addresses the "Healthy People 2010" focus areas of: Chapter 3: Cancer---Reduce the number of new cancer cases as well as the illness, disability, and death caused by cancer, and Chapter 7: Education and Community-Based Programs---Increase the quality, availability, and effectiveness of education and community-based programs designed to prevent disease and improve health and quality of life.
