- Historic Preservation: NPS and National Collaborative for Women's History Sites (NCWHS) wish to cooperate with one another for their mutual benefit and for the general benefit of the people of the United States and future generations to enjoy our nation’s cultural and historic resources. Specifically, NCWHS provides assistance to parks, such as research in archives and other repositories to provide historical information that is of great benefit to the preservation and interpretation program of parks. NPS provides a rich tapestry of parks that provide a better understanding of our history. Together, NPS and NCWHS enrich the lives of all Americans with their mutual cooperation.
