- Grant Description
- CDCs Procurement and Grants Office has published a funding opportunity announcement entitled, "National Environmental Public Health Tracking Program: Health Data Partner in Environmental Public Health Tracking." $100,000 [this amount is an estimate, and subject to the availability of funds] will be available in fiscal year 2007 to fund up to 1 award. The purpose of the program is to establish a partnership with the National Association of Health Data Organizations (NAHDO). NAHDO projects have worked with various data sources that could be appropriate mechanisms for facilitating linkages between health outcome and environmental data. A NAHDO-Tracking collaboration is an important step to establishing access to existing hospital and emergency department data. Through this collaboration, NAHDO will work with CDC to identify and overcome barriers in access to health data and increase accessibility to health data. For complete program details, please see the full announcement on the CDC website at http://www.cdc.gov/od/pgo/funding/EH07-703.htm. The estimated funding date is August 31, 2007.
