This action is not competed. It is a conversion of a contract to a cooperative agreement in lieu of exercising an option.
Grant Description
In support of the David L Boren National Security Education Act of 1991, as amended (Section 1901-1910, Section 50, US Code) the work to be performed under this cooperative agreement shall involve administrative functions in support of National Security Education Program (NSEP) Boren Scholarships and Fellowships and the Language Flagship program. The cooperative agreement recipient will be the Administrative Agent for the these programs and will be required to work closely with the Government Program Manager at NSEP and with the National Security Education Board that is chaired by the Secretary of Defense (or the Secretary's designee) and with membership composed of senior representatives from six other Federal organizations and six Presidential appointees confirmed by the US Senate.
