National Space Science and Technology Center Research and Support: The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), Marshall Space Flight Center is releasing a Cooperative Agreement Notice (CAN) No. NNM07ZPS001C, for the National Space Science and Technology Center Research and Support. On or about June 21, 2007, this CAN will be available electronically through the NASA Acquisition Internet Service (NAIS) Business Opportunities site at http://nspires.nasaprs.com . Participation is open to U.S. for-profit, non-profit or academic institutions. However, for-profit proposals are required to meet the 50/50 cost sharing requirements as specified in NPR 5800.1, Part D. Proposal due date is August 3, 2007, 4:00 P.M. (Central Daylight Time). Questions specifically about this solicitation should be emailed to Melinda E. Dodson at [email protected]. Questions will be accepted up to 2 weeks after CAN issuance. To help facilitate proposal preparation, each offeror will be allowed one (1) visit to the facilities. The visit will be limited to a maximum of four (4) personnel for each offeror. The time and date of the site visit are as follows: June 29, 2007 at 9:00 a.m., (Central Daylight Time). The site visit will commence at the NSSTC building on 320 Sparkman Drive, Huntsville, AL 35805. Offerors wishing to attend this site visit must furnish an e-mail request to [email protected] not later than 10:00 a.m. (CDT), June 26, 2007. The request shall include the following information: CAN Number: NNM07ZPS001C Name of Business Organization Name of Personnel Planning to Attend This solicitation leading to the award of a Cooperative Agreement is issued pursuant to title 14 CFR Part 1260 for educational and nonprofit institutions and 14 CFR part 1274 for commercial organizations. Notwithstanding the posting of this opportunity at FedBizOpps.gov, Grants.gov, or at both sites, NASA reserves the right to determine the appropriate award instrument for each proposal selected pursuant to this announcement. NASA expects to award one cooperative agreement under this notice. The estimated annual value for core work of this award is estimated at $5,000,000 per year for a possible performance period of five years.
