National Trails Along the Potomac: A Guide for Boaters: This is NOT a request for applications; this is just an announcement that NOS has already entered into a cooperative agreement with the American Canoe Association, Inc., for their work on a National Trails Along the Potomac: A Guide for Boaters. Specifically, the cooperator will: • Develop and carry out evaluation of the utility and effectiveness of the existing John Smith Chesapeake Boater’s Guide with membership and partner organizations; • Compile a summary of the findings; and • Based on the findings, develop and launch a Boater’s Guide for the Potomac River segment of the national historic trails.
