Native Plug and Seed Production and Seed Row Development for the United States Army on Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM) in Washington State: This announcement represents an opportunity to enter into a Cooperative Agreement with an organization for express purpose of natural resource management necessary to protect and sustain the rare habitats (wetland and upland) that exists on Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM) in Washington State. The goal of this cooperative effort is to conduct native plug, seed production, and seed row development to further restore, support, and sustain the rare habitats that occur within the JBLM installation area.The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) is seeking organizations that own and maintain their own nursery/production facilities with staff experienced in the production of native plant materials as well as other basic materials for plug production, seed production, and seed row development.Statutory Authority: Title 16 of the U.S. Code § 670c-1, SEC 103a., Cooperative and Interagency Agreements for Land Management on department of Defense Installations.
