Natural Resource Education and Outreach Intern: Responsibilities will include: leading school field trips that focus on natural resources and Standards of Learning, travelling to classrooms, expos and special events to educate the public about the natural resources of the battlefield, assisting with improvement to the natural resources portion of the web page and social media sources, collaborating with community partners, and developing natural resource interpretation and education programs and materials. Additional responsibilities may include assisting in the completion of the following: habitat assessment surveys, deer spotlight surveys, quail counts; exotic plant control and data management, habitat restoration, collecting water quality data, attending expos and community events to educate the public about the natural resources of the battlefield.
