- Grant Description
- The Neotropical Migratory Bird Conservation Act (Act) establishes a matching grants program to fund projects that promote the conservation of these birds in the United States, Latin America, and the Caribbean. Project proposals need to demonstrate how a conservation partnership's activities will foster sustainable, effective, long-term programs to conserve neotropical migratory birds. The Act defines conservation as: protection and management of populations, maintenance, management, protection, and restoration of habitats, research and monitoring, law enforcement, and community outreach and education. Grant requests must be matched at least 3:1 by non-federal partner funds.
