- USAID Caucasus in Georgia is finalizing the design of a new activity which will improve rural incomes; reduce poverty levels; improve food security; address critical, small-scale household and agricultural water constraints in targeted communities; enable targeted internally displaced persons (IDP) communities (old and new) to sustainably maintain their households; and assist communities distressed by natural or other disasters to plan for and recover from economic shocks. Interested persons and organizations are invited to submit comments and suggestions by 16:00 Tbilisi time on Monday, April 12. Responses to the following questions would be helpful: 1. Clarity of the project's design and SOW/PD. 2. The appropriateness of the proposed targeted beneficiary and groupings. 3. The proposed outputs, results and your estimated budget for achieving these objectives. 4. The design of the 'Opportunity fund.' 5. In the context of ADS 304, should this program be implemented through a contract or an assistance agrement? Please do not submit proposals, resumes or corporate qualifications. They will be discarded. Submissions will not be acknowledged. USAID may use any information provided without incurring any obligation.
