New England Transportation Consortium Research Study 05-1: Develop Base Resistance Load Displacement Curves for the Design of Drilled Shaft Rock Sockets: The Government hereby requests an application from the University of Maine for assistance to result in a Cooperative Agreement with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) for completion of the New England Transportation Consortium (NETC) Research Study 05-1: Develop Base Resistance Load Displacement Curves for the Design of Drilled Shaft Rock Sockets. The objective of the study is to develop a method to estimate the portion of the other resisting force not recognized by AASHTO for New England rock conditions.
