Newlands Project Water Rights Compensation Program: The Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation) intends to issue a sole source Grant Agreement to Great Basin Land and Water, 470 Columbus Avenue, Suite 211, San Francisco, CA 94133, under the authority of CFDA 15.508, Public Law 107-171, Section 2507(a)(1)(b); Public Law 110-161, Section 208(a)(7). The purpose of this program is to provide funding to Great Basin Land and Water for retirement of Newlands Project water rights.Period of performance is from the date of award to June 30, 2012. Estimated award date: on or about September 4, 2009. Estimated award amount: $3,000,000.00.A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed financial assistance based upon Departmental Manual 505 DM 2, paragraph 2.14(B)(4) is solely within the discretion of the Government. This Notice of Intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. Central Contractor Registration (CCR) applies to this announcement.
