Nicaragua Citizen Security Grants: INL is pleased to announce that we are seeking applications for four Citizen Security Grant programs (Program 1: Education and Capacity Building; Program 2: Awareness and Media Outreach; Program 3: Community Development; Program 4: Prevention and Drug Demand Reduction). These programs will increase security through education, capacity building, awareness/media outreach, community development and prevention/drug demand reduction initiatives. The projects will focus on the Northern Atlantic Autonomous Region (RAAN), South Atlantic Autonomous Region (RAAS), and selected departments of the Pacific coast of Nicaragua where the incidence of crime is higher.
