- Eligibility for research projects includes: state agricultural experiment stations, land-grant colleges and universities, research foundations established by land-grant colleges and universities, colleges and universities receiving funds under the Act of October 10, 1962 (16 U.S.C. 582a et seq.) and accredited schools or colleges of veterinary medicine. - Grant Description
- The Regional Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Competitive Grants Program supports projects that develop individual pest control tactics, integrate individual tactics into an IPM system, and develop and implement extension education programs. In the North Central region, priority will be given to proposals that address one or more of the following topic areas: 1) economics or risk assessment of IPM systems; 2) Alternative pest management systems; 3) Alternative production systems; 4) Decision and diagnostic tools; 5) Pest detection, identification, and/or monitoring; and 6) IPM adoption.
