Northeast Diesel Collaborative Emissions Reductions: Clean School Bus USA and Voluntary Diesel Retrofit Program (NEDC Emissions Reductions): The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Regions 1 and 2, as part of the Northeast Diesel Collaborative, are soliciting proposals for projects to reduce diesel emissions in EPA Region 1 and Region 2. The Northeast Diesel Collaborative (NEDC) combines the expertise of public and private partners in a coordinated regional initiative to significantly reduce diesel emissions and improve public health in the eight northeastern states. Funding will be in the form of cooperative agreements or grants.EPA is soliciting applications under two national clean diesel programs of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency; the Voluntary Diesel Retrofit Program (no cost share required) and Clean School Bus USA (five percent cost share required).
