- Grant Description
- The FY 2011-2015 Five Year Deferred Maintenance and Capital Improvement Plan has committed a total of $3.2 million from fiscal years 2010-2012 to construct and interagency wildland fire dispatch center. In FY 2010, the BLM would transfer $280K to the recipient (State of Utah) to develop plans and associated preliminary tasks for the facility construction. The proposed building will be constructed on State land in FY 2011 and FY 2012. The recipient will provide the valuable property (which they own) at the Lone Peak location in Draper, Utah. In addition, the State of Utah will provide personnel, expertise, and equipment at their disposal to construct the building. The United States Forest Service, as a third party, will provide much of the equipment and furnishings subsequent to the construction of the facility.
