- A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD is issued by the U.S. Fish and wildlife Service "the Service" to the Quinault Indian Nation according to 505 DM 2.14 (4)(refer to the attached NOI justification located in the Full Announcement section of this opportunity). NO COMPETITION IS EXPECTED - PLEASE DO NOT APPLY FOR THIS OPPORTUNITY. The purpose of this agreement is to provide for cooperation and understanding between the Service and the Quinault Indian Nation to establish the respective duties and responsibilities for the funding and implementation of the Nation's Tribal Employment Resource Ordinance (TERO) program. Specific objectives of the agreement are to provide temporary employment and training to Tribal members to support hatchery operations; to maintain communications and consultation between the Service and the Quinault Nation and to recognize the Nation's ownership and management of lands, roads, and waters within the boundaries of the Quinault Indian Reservation relating to TERO. Substantial involvement on the part of the Service is anticipated (refer to 505 DM 2.9 B.)
