Noxious Weed Inventory & Control, Baker County, Oregon: The objective of this project is to inventory, and treat noxious weeds and invasive species on public land through the Baker County Weed Control Program. This will allow for a seamless approach to a problem shared by both the private land owners and the BLM. Restoration of certain weed sites will also be part of this project.

As stated in the Federal Noxious Weed Act, P.L. 93-929, "The term State Agency means a State department of agriculture, or other State agency or political subdivision thereof, responsible for the administration or implementation of undesirable plants laws of a State." Only States or counties where BLM manages public lands and the state agency desires to work together to control or eradicate noxious weeds on both public lands and private lands in Oregon will be eligible.
