Grant Description
This is a Notice of Intent to award. The project brings together seven nations of Nuwuvi (Southern Paiute and Chemehuevi) and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to conduct participatory interpretive planning in three protected areas with the Desert National Wildlife Refuge Complex (DNWRC). Project activities will include a series of six interconnected sequential planning meetings where particpants discuss the parameters, content, concept, design, and implementation of interpretive products to be developed within three new visitors centers and nearby areas.
