OJJDP FY 09 Family Drug Court Training and Technical Assistance: OJJDP's Family Drug Court Training and Technical Assistance Program supports training and technical assistance that helps states, state courts, local courts, units of local government, and Indian tribal governments build the capacity to develop, maintain, and enhance drug courts for substance-abusing adults who are involved with the family court due to child abuse and/or neglect issues. The Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act of 1994 (Public Law 103-322), 42 U.S.C. 3797u-8, provides the statutory authority for this program.
