Grant Description
OVC cooperative agreements of $35,000 will help establish four State Victim Assistance Academies (SVAAs) to provide academic education and training for victim assistance providers, victim advocates, criminal justice personnel, and allied professionals who routinely deal with crime victims. Grants are intended to help in year 1 planning and may be continued for 2 more years, for a total of $195,000 in federal grant funds. In-kind match of 25% required for each year. Note: Only one application per state will be funded.
