OVC FY 2018 Tribal Set-Aside Training and Technical Assistance (TTA) Program: The primary goal of the cooperative agreement(s) awarded under the FY 2018 Tribal Set-Aside Training and Technical Assistance Program solicitation is to provide resources and training and technical assistance to Indian tribes and tribal consortia that receive grant funds from OVC through the FY18 Tribal Victim Services Set-Aside Program, to enhance their response to victims of crime, their families, and the community. OVC estimates that it will make up to two awards, of up to $1.325 million each, for an estimated total of $2.65 million, for a 3-year period of performance, beginning on October 1, 2018. OVC anticipates funding organization(s) with experience providing expertise on American Indian/Alaska Native (AI/AN) victim issues and support and training and technical assistance to AI/AN communities. - Eligible applicants are limited to nonprofit organizations (including tribal nonprofit, faith- and community-based organizations), institutions of higher education (including tribal institutions of higher education), public agencies, and consortiums with demonstrated organization and community-based experience working with American Indian and/or Alaska Native (AI/AN) communities. All recipients and subrecipients (including any for-profit organization) must forgo any profit or management fee. OVC may elect to fund applications submitted under this FY 2018 solicitation in future fiscal years, dependent on, among other considerations, the merit of the applications and on the availability of appropriations.
