Grant Description: The National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) invites applications for Obesity/Nutrition Research Center (ONRC) grants. The ONRCs are core centers (P30) that are part of an integrated program of nutrition and obesity-research support provided by NIDDK. A total of $2,000,000 in FY 2006 will be committed to fund a total of two new and/or competing continuation grants in response to this RFA. An applicant may request a project period of up to 5 years and a budget for direct costs of up to $ 750,000 per year. Two existing ONRCs are expected to submit competing renewal applications.
