Older Americans Act (OAA)-Senior Community Service Employment Program-OAA Section 502(e): Section 502(e) of the Older Americans Act as amended by the 2006 Amendments to the Older Americans Act (hereafter OAA), Pub. Law 109-365 (October 17, 2006), authorizes the Department of Labor (the Department) to use appropriated funds to carry out pilot and demonstration projects for the purpose of developing and implementing techniques and approaches, and demonstrating the effectiveness of such techniques and approaches, in addressing the employment and training needs of SCSEP-eligible individuals. The Department has decided to conduct a limited competition for award of these funds.
