This action will be a Single Source Award to Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy, San Francisco, CA

Grant Description

The Department of Interior, National Park Service, Golden Gate Recreation Area ("GGNRA") is entering into Task Agreement J8148100003 with Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy ("Parks Conservancy") conduct on-site public engagement support for road improvements occurring in the Marin Headlands and Fort Baker. The objective of the on-site public engagement support will be as follows: (1) interface with the public, (2) provide information about project goals and outcomes, (3) address park visitors' questions and concerns about project actions; (4) build community awareness and support for the project; (5) explain closures, trail detours and project timelines, (6) collect public engagement data and assess public response; (7) distribute outreach materials; (8) maintain and update project-related signage and (9) ensure visitor safety by monitoring construction fences and barricades.This agreement will be processed under an existing Cooperative Agreement, 1443CA-8140-98-001. This award is in accordance with the Department of Interior Policy, 505 DM2.
