Onc Funding For Cyber Threat Information Sharing In The Health Care And Public Health (hph) Sector: The purpose of this cooperative agreement is to build the capacity of an information sharing and analysis organization (ISAO) to share cyber threat information bi-directionally with the Health and Public Health (HPH) sector and HHS about cyber threats and provide outreach and education that improves cyber security awareness and equips HPH sector stakeholders to take action in response to cyber threat information shared by the ISAO. Furthermore, this ISAO will expand and leverage the existing capabilities of the participating HHS offices and thereby create a more robust cyber information sharing environment for the entire HPH sector, which will provide a streamlined information sharing process that would allow HHS to send cybersecurity threat information to a single entity and would give that entity the responsibility for disseminating the information for the benefit of the entire HPH sector on an equitable and timely basis. Much of the information created by recipient will be specific to particular types of cyber threats, but ONC may elect to publish more generalizable education materials funded through the grant on healthit.gov, other ONC-sponsored websites, or with other ONC grantees. ONC may share particular cyber threat information with ASPR if it is necessary to more broadly publicize particular threats.
