Operationalizing a Neighborhood Approach to Reduce Urban Disaster Risk in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC): The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), Bureau for Democracy, Conflict, and Humanitarian Assistance (DCHA), Office of U.S. Foreign Disaster Assistance (OFDA) is seeking Concept Papers to support or stimulate the activities described in this Annual Program Statement (APS). The objective of this APS is to support innovative and/or proven ways to reduce the risk of disasters to populations living in hazard-prone, marginalized and vulnerable urban neighborhoods, through applying the Neighborhood Approach in selected geographic locations Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC).
