Opportunity DE-FOA-0000089: This is a restricted eligibility. Through Federal initiatives and laws, there are several programs that advance equal opportunity in higher education, strengthen the capacity of Minority Serving Institutions to provide the highest quality education, and increase opportunities for these institutions to participate in and benefit from Federal programs. To support these programs, this Solar Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) intends to solicit applications only from Minority Serving Institutions to enhance these institutions and encourage their participation in Federal programs in the area of solar technologies. Successful Applicants will receive awards to support undergraduate and graduate students, and their faculty advisors to conduct energy research in areas of photovoltaics, concentrating solar power, solar systems integration and solar market transformation.
