Department of StateBureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement (INL) Request for Grant Proposals: Law Enforcement and Rule of Law Programs for Countries in Central AmericaSUMMARYINL announces a request for proposals from organizations interested in submitting proposals for law enforcement and rule of law projects in various Central American countries including: Belize, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua.PLEASE NOTE: INL strongly urges applicants to access www.grants.gov immediately in order to obtain a username and password. TARGET THEMES AND COUNTRIESINL invites organizations to submit proposals outlining program concepts and capacity to manage projects targeting the following issues:BelizeMerida Strategic Objective: 3.1 Improve Justice System Efficiency/Effectiveness. Project: Courts ManagementApproximately $516,000 available: INL seeks proposals that build the capacity of courts to manage cases related to narcotics and transnational crime.
