Oral Mucosal Vaccination Against Hiv Infection and Hiv-Related Opportunistic Pathogens: Substantial advances have been made in understanding the immunology of oral and nasopharyngeal mucosal tissues. To capitalize on this research in the fight against AIDS, the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIDCR) invites applications to investigate the use of oral and nasopharyngeal mucosal immune system as a route for vaccination against HIV and associated opportunistic infections.
