- Grant Description
- CDC?s Procurement and Grants Office has published a program announcement entitled, ?Organ Transplant Infection Detection and Prevention Program.? Approximately $350,000 is available to fund between one and two awards to public and private nonprofit organizations. The purpose of the OTIP Program is to support organ transplant centers participating in existing surveillance or research networks to develop a consortium of centers of excellence in surveillance, infection prevention, and applied public health research involving solid organ and stem cell transplant recipients. The application deadline is June 24, 2004, and the estimated funding award date is August 30, 2004.
