- Grant Description
- PRM is currently accepting NGO proposals that support Mauritanian refugee reintegration through a community-based approach focusing primarily on agricultural and livelihoods support. Priority will be given to proposals that target areas of high refugee return (e.g., Trarza, Brakna, and Gorgol regions) where refugee returnees make up at least 50% of targeted beneficiaries. Organizations should also demonstrate a working relationship with UNHCR, a proven track record in providing proposed assistance to refugees, returnees, and/or Mauritanian communities, and evidence of coordination with development organizations and/or host government entities that could take on support of any ongoing efforts.
