- Grant Description
- Limited funding is available to support NGOs working with UNHCR in Rwanda and Tanzania to assist and protect refugees. Priority sectors include health, water, sanitation, shelter, camp infrastructure, protection, education, and gender-based violence prevention and response. Priority will be give to proposals from organizations that can demonstrate: (1) a working relationship with UNHCR and 2010 UNHCR funding and/or support for the proposed activities; (2) a proven track record in providing the proposed assistance (both in the sector and specified location); (3) evidence of coordination with international organizations and other NGOs working in the same area or sector; and (4) appropriate targeting of beneficiaries in coordination with UNHCR and other relevant organizations.
