The U.S. Territories and jurisdictions funded under this FOA will work collaboratively to promote and sustain policy change efforts of sufficient intensity and duration to help achieve the "Healthy People 2010" objectives related to nutrition, physical activity, and tobacco control. It is recommended that the U.S. Territories focus the interventions on populations who suffer disproportionately from the burden of disease.
