Personnel Security Thesis, Dissertation and Institutional Research Awards Program: The Department of Defense Polygraph Institute DoDPI began in 1999 an effort to broaden its presence in the scientific and academic communities in response to the need for more advanced technical expertise to fulfill DoDPIs research mission. The Personnel Security Thesis, Dissertation, and Institutional Research Awards Program seeks to give the DoDPI a research workforce that is competitive with the best minds from the complex cerebral worlds of academia, and the emerging technologies.
