Grant Description: -The purpose of this RFA is to provide infrastructure support in order to foster and enhance the research capabilities of established population research centers that are highly productive and influential in the areas of research within the mission of the Demographic and Behavioral Sciences Branch (DBSB), Center for Population Research, NICHD. -The NICHD intends to commit approximately $1.061 million in total costs [Direct plus Facilities and Administrative (F and A) costs] in FY 2008 to fund applications in response to this RFA. -The NICHD anticipates funding one to four new and/or renewal (formerly competing continuation) grants in response to this RFA. New, resubmission, and renewal applications may be submitted in response to this RFA.
