Pre-solicitation Notice USAID/India : Innovations for Forest Resources Management (InFoRM): The purpose of this pre-solicitation notice is to provide potential applicants advance notice that USAID/India intends to issue a single or multiple award Request for Application (RFA) for a program entitled: Innovations for Forest Resources Management (InFoRM). USAID/India proposes to support climate change mitigation in the forestry sector through this program. Specifically, USAID/India aims to support cutting-edge innovations (products and processes) and practices for forest resources management while enhancing livelihoods of forest-dependent communities. NO APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED THROUGH THIS NOTICE. Please do not submit questions or respond to this Notice of Intent. Prospective applicants should begin developing partnerships, contemplating sources of private sector leverage, formulating ideas, and gathering data in anticipation of the issuance of the Request for Application. It is anticipated that this RFA will be posted to Grants.gov on or about January 2014 with an Application submission period of 30-45 days. A program of up to 4 years is currently being planned.
