President's Malaria Initiative: CDCs Procurement and Grants Office has published a new funding opportunity entitled, Presidents Malaria Initiative. $600,000 will be available in FY2005 to fund four awards. The purpose of the program is to support malaria prevention and control and relevant ancillary activities (e.g., baseline evaluation, strategy development, training, and monitoring and program evaluation) in the countries included in President Bushs initiative to fight malaria in Africa.
