Secretarys Forecast Summary CDC-RFA-PS07-752CDCs Procurement and Grants Office has published a program announcement entitled, "Prevention of Mother to Child Transmission of HIV and Improving Access to Comprehensive HIV/AIDS Care in the Republic of Namibia under the Presidents Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief." Approximately $15,720,647 will be available in fiscal year 2007 to fund approximately one award to the Ministry of Health and Social Services, the Republic of Namibia. The purpose of the program is to support the public health infrastructure in the Republic of Namibia to increase capacity within the country to prevent HIV transmission from mother to child and to improve access to comprehensive HIV/AIDS care and support programs in the public sector.
