Grant Description: The NIAAA Program Project initiative supports interdisciplinary research on a wide variety of areas including, but not limited to: the nature, causes, consequences, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of alcohol abuse and alcoholism; and in addition the development of new approaches and methodologies to pursue this research.
