Grant Description
INL programming in the DRC will be designed to improve the criminal justice sectors capacity to investigate and prosecute GBV perpetrators as well as assist female victims of rape and abuse with the criminal and legal processes required to bring a GBV case to justice. Program goals will include increasing the level of security for the vulnerable populations in DRC by bolstering the capacity of the legal system to protect women and punish perpetrators of GBV through training police, prosecutors, and judges in cases of sexual violence and abuse against women.
