- The purpose of the program is to provide support for 1) the promotion of immunization information and activities through collaboration with targeted stakeholders that will strengthen and enhance the effectiveness of disease prevention programs that reduce the annual burden of vaccine preventable diseases among children; and 2) raising parental awareness about vaccine-preventable diseases and the benefits of vaccines.
