Grant Description
This solicitation will support efforts to protect the health of older adults and the environment. This is an initial announcement for Protecting the Health of Older Adults by Improving the Environment: Training, Innovation, Outreach and Educational Projects. It is expected that these funds will assist in building local, state or tribal capacity to reduce environmental hazards that may affect the health of older persons. EPA expects to award these grants under the following six grant authorities: Clean Air Act section 103(b)(3); Clean Water Act section 104 (b)(3); Resource Conservation and Recovery Act section 8001; Toxics Substances Control Act section 10; Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act section 20; and Safe Drinking Water Act sections 1442(a) and (c).
