Provide Educational Outreach to enhance Longleaf Pine Restoration in South Carolina: The authorizing statutes and regulations for this opportunity are Conservation Technical Assistance Program (CTA), 16 U.S.C. Sections 590a-590f, 590q, 7 CFR Part 610 (CFDA l 0.902) The purpose of this announcement is to provide education and outreach effort to longleaf pine ecosystems. Educational workshops will highlight NRCS conservation practices and financial incentives available to help private landowner and producers. The objectives of this agreement is to educate landowners and producers on the benefits of prescribe fire, restoring the longleaf pine ecosystems, provide training and educational workshops. The results of this effort will strength, increase and encourage the voluntary approach and participation of private landowners to successfully implement USDA Programs administered by NRCS.
